The Aereco hygro-adjustable grille is the recommended controlled natural ventilation solution for modern airtight joinery, solving the paradox of well-insulated buildings: PVC or aluminium windows with triple gaskets eliminate unwanted draughts but also block natural air renewal, leading to CO₂ accumulation and excessive humidity. Unlike fixed-flow ventilation grilles or motor-driven VMC systems that consume energy, Aereco works completely passively — a hygroscopic polyamide blade that deforms proportionally to the relative humidity in the room, opening or closing the passage section without any intervention. The automatically adjustable airflow of 5–35 m³/h ensures that air is renewed exactly when needed — more when cooking or showering, less when the room is empty and dry — minimising heat losses. The 33 dB sound attenuation means the grille does not affect the window's acoustic performance. Installation is carried out by simple cutting in the PVC or aluminium profile, without modification of the window, with insect protection included.
