The Alumil S 350 SMARTIA lift and slide system is the optimal solution for residential projects that want lift-and-slide technology with thermal barrier at the most competitive cost in the Alumil range. The 28 mm thermal barrier, although smaller than Supreme systems, ensures Uf from 2.9 W/m²K — significantly superior to fully metallic sliding systems without thermal barrier, which achieve Uf of 6–8 W/m²K and generate massive condensation on the threshold in winter. Perimeter sealing through tri-fin brushes guarantees superior silence compared to classic EPDM gaskets and high durability in repeated opening cycles. Compatible glass up to 28 mm allows the use of standard double thermal insulating glass, with an optimised total system cost for residential projects with a medium budget.
